Day 47: Fri 31 Mar 23 - Port Lincoln to Elliston

Fri 31 Mar 23 - Port Lincoln to Elliston (Towed 172 km) 13 to 22 Deg.  We woke to a beautiful still morning, then scattered showers rolled in from 0830, then cleared with a brisk SW Wind building in the afternoon. We drove away from Port Lincoln in light rain, travelling along a very quiet Flinders Highway to Elliston. At a cost of $40 for access ($35 for concession through the Visitor Information Centre), it was definitely worth the cost. Although advice is that the park is accessible by 2WD, many roads were very rocky and rough, and in need of repair. R eturning home to the caravan at about 1600, it was another memorable day with some incre...
